Our one day wellness retreat was created for travelers who want a brief escape for a taste of Nepal’s yoga traditions and nature. The retreat includes all of the benefits of our typical retreat in condensed format. We offer inclusive yoga classes tailored to all skill levels, introduction to pranayama and sound healing meditation, refreshing Jalneti session. Enjoy healthy homecooked vegetarian meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus unlimited herbal tea and filtered hot/cold water.
Along with the wellness activities, you’ll go on a guided 3-hour hike through lush forests, visit local temples, take a village walk, and see a waterfall. Each day’s hike is planned in advance to ensure everyone has a great experience, so we can’t accommodate specific hiking abilities and interests.
We hold yoga class every morning from
8:00 am to 9:30 am. Our class structure begins with pranayama breathing and warm up. We then move to yoga poses and finish with sound healing meditation. We adjust our class to fit all levels of fitness and experience.
After the Sabasana, immerse yourself in a dedicated Sound Healing Meditation class, further enhancing relaxation and inner peace. You can also request Chakra Healing for an additional cost.
After your yoga class, deepen your mindfulness practice with a meditation session. We offer the unique opportunity to meditate in the serene hiking area, surrounded by the calming sounds of nature.
After breakfast, we go on a 2-3 hour hike around the beautiful areas near Niru Yoga Homestay. Each day, we visit different places like rivers, waterfalls, forests, temples, and local villages. Every hike is a chance to see something new and enjoy the natural beauty around us.
We serve organic food, mostly from our own garden. You’ll enjoy fresh fruits, parathas, curries, pancakes, beetroot puri, halwa, and herbal tea. The menu changes daily. For lunch and dinner, we offer dal, rice, vegetables, curd, and herbal tea.
The rest of the time, guests can relax in our garden swing, on the rooftop, or in the yoga halls. You can also practice with a singing bowl or learn how to cook Nepalese food.
