Group yoga retreats can bring people together through movement and breath and allow attendees to share and learn from one another’s experiences. Working together on poses, meditations, and chants builds a special kind of cohesiveness. This shared energy can’t be achieved when practicing yoga alone. Facilitated discussions make space for attendees to share their thoughts and experiences of particular poses, types of yoga, meditation, how to live and build a spiritual life, and more. Groups that have stayed at Niru Yoga Homestay leave feeling like a part of a greater community.

TYPES OF GROUPS OFFERED

Pre/Post Trek Relaxing Retreat

Nepal is the premier destination for trekking and also a beautiful setting for yoga. Prepare your group for their trek with some invigorating yoga, stretching, and warm-up hiking trips. Similarly, bring your group for a post-trek debrief and let us help you unwind with relaxing  yoga classes that will help you to restore your body and nourish your soul. 

Team-Building Retreats

Engage your group in meaningful activities to help to strengthen the bonds and collaboration among team members. We offer a unique opportunity for your team to step away from their daily work routine and engage in activities that promote team cohesion, release stress, and reconnect with themselves and each other.

Group Chakra and Sound Healing Course

Bring your group to learn how to work with the healing nature of sound vibration and how to identify blocks in our energy centers (chakras).  Group members get practical experience in a trusting environment in this group yoga retreat.  They will also experiencing daily yoga and hiking. 

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN GROUP YOGA RETREATS

Meals:

  • Three healthy and delicious homecooked vegetarian meals per day.
  • Meals are prepared using organic ingredients from our own fields.
  • Unlimited purified drinking water.
  • Unlimited herbal tea or coffee.
  • We accommodate dietary needs. 

Leader Benefits:

  • Assistance in coordinating classes, activities, and transportation.
  • One-on-one consultation with yoga experts and trainers.
  • Private room (when available)
  • Retreat cost waived for 1 leader.
  • Accommodation cost waived for 1 leader.

Activities:

  • Two daily yoga classes with pranayama, mantra, mudra, and sound healing meditation.
  • Nasal cleaning (Jal Neti).
  • Two to three-hour hikes per day.
  • Meditation sessions in the jungle.
  • Sauna bath and campfire (available on Sundays).


DAILY ACTIVITY SCHEDULE

  • 7:30 AM Tea Time
  • 8:00 AM Jala Neti (nasal cleansing).
  • 8:15 AM Yoga class (1.5 hour) with pranayama (breathing exercises, meditation, mantra, and mudra). 
  • 10:00 AM Breakfast
  • 11:15 AM Hiking 
  • 1:30 PM Lunch
  • 3:00 PM Education and practice (when applicable) or Group Discussion (2 hours)
  • 5:30 PM Tea Time
  • 6:00 PM Evening Yoga class (a more relaxing class with sound bath).
  • 7:30 PM Dinner
  • 8:00 PM Free time in the evening for relaxation.

Feels like coming home
This was a great experience, so relaxing and heart warming. We were greeted with genuine love and felt home right away. The yoga classes are professional and the hikes are amazing with views over bridges, waterfalls and temples.

You Won’t Get This Experience Anywhere Else
You can not miss Niru homestay. The family treats you as family. We did the 2 day stay. Not only were the meals healthy they were plentiful and so delicious with so much flavor. You are also educated about the food, sleeping habits and so much more. The hiking even with it being rainy season was so beautiful. We were safely guided through the forest, waterfalls temples and so much more. Yoga, breath work, meditation and sound healing were full of information. He is so talented and really gives you so much knowledge. I’ve never had such an in detail session before. Not only are you practicing you are also learning. The family, scenery everything is truly just so amazing. You won’t find a family owned, knowledgeable, detailed packed instructor anywhere else.
